Luke Kopycinski

Luke Kopycinski is an Australian born artist currently working and living in Melbourne, Australia.
Best described as Dark Noir, his paintings and graphite works combine bright and soft shining light with heavy sharp shadows that center the focus of his pieces.

His subject matter is the beautiful and the melancholic, and the people he encounters every day: both what they project on the outside and what they keep hidden inside. His artistic style combines both realism and impressionism to provide an illusionary depth to his work that captures these delicate moments of beauty and intimacy.
