Chelsea Greene Lewyta

Chelsea Greene Lewyta was born and raised in New York and is ethnically Ukrainian. Her parents exposed her and her sister to a lot of Asian culture and this is where the Asian print and Asian motifs in Chelseas work originate from.

She currently resides in Brooklyn, New York attending Pratt Institute for Illustration. She is also taking classes in fine Arts and silk screening. She has been the lead partner of Pratts comic, Static Fish for over a year and contributes comics and covers to the issues frequently as well as keeping it run. She first started freelancing in high school and has had many small clients. For them she completed
character design, single illustrations, and tattoo designs. In college she got her first biggest client who is Dress Up America.
She worked for them in Summer 2006 - Winter 2007. She designed children, tween, and adult costumes as well as illustrated them.

Chelsea is interested in book illustration, including childrens and young adult, comics and graphic novels, fashion, greeting cards,
and editorial illustration. She also has type, advertisement, web design and graphic design knowledge. She plans to keep working
freelance while in school to help jump start her professional career.
