Lost Fish

Female artist, Lost Fish was born in the south of France in 1983. Starting her illustration work as a freelance designer in 2007 - making digital paintings with her computer - the development of her haunting female muses marked the foundation of her unique artistic style.

Combining the classic aesthetic elements of nineteenth century portraiture and Victorian-era art, these stylistic elements are juxtaposed against the artwork’s technological means of production. The portraits also take on a further critical dimension when considered in light of contemporary female politics.

To date Lost Fish has exhibited throughout Europe and America.
