Gallery Management and Exhibition studies course will teach you what
goes on behind the scenes of a commerical art gallery and will answer
the following questions:

What is an art gallery? The traditional vs. the new.

What is a gallery manger? The responsiblities, the skills and necessities to be a good manager.

Where do you source art?-
How do you price and sell art? The basics.

How do you market an art gallery?-
How to organize an exhibition. From start to finish.

How to "curate" an exhibition. Discussing show concepts, art selection and layout design.

How to stand out with your exhibitions and create interest.
After
the three week course you will be prepared to enter a gallery
enviroment and understand the day to day responsiblities, the long term
goals and the individual tasks that need to be completed in order to
organize a successful exhibition and manage an art gallery. The course
will give you a competitive edge over your peers when applying for
positions in art galleries or artist run spaces.
Please note: You will not be granted with a certificate or degree on completion. It is a life experience course only.
